Troopers Exchange
The entire 201st legion of the elite ilovepanmee corp were all sardined into its Version 1.0 “min fun” (flour-shaped) spaceship and 3 hours later, the ship docked on the parking bay of Starwarsilike Destroyer. Time was: 00:10, Tuesday.
Jocelyn Soo, who has just received the medal of panmee, stepped forward and exclaimed “OMG, this is so grand! I’ve always watched this on the Star Wars movies but I’ve NEVER EVER seen this like LIVE… OMG OMG! I’m breathless.”
And Vernadium Lee, who was the first to join the elite ilovepanmee corp looked wide-eyed at Lord Sinned, who was there to command his 501st legion of the Starwarsilike troopers.
The hall is just huge, you know, grand, majestic, futuristic and all.
Squeeked Lord Sinned “You are all here for this Troopers Exchange Programme, a little joint-venture with Starwarsilike and ilovepanmee (is that how you pronounce it? Hmmm?) Well, in order to kick start this programme, first, troopers of ilovepanmee must view the www.starwarsilike.blogspot.com blog for information regarding our 501st legion, and I command the 501st legion troopers to do so the same. That is, to take up an interest in pan mee, which is the food of the Orient: www.ilovepanmee.blogspot.com - I assume some of you troopers will master the art of cooking pan mee (is that how you pronounce it? Hmmm?) for me at the end of this programme. Now… mingle away.”
Shown below is Lord Sinned slurping pan mee.
ilovepanmee has 200 fans!
At exactly 7:12pm yesterday [Monday, Malaysian time], Jocelyn Soo became the 200th ilovepanmee fan! This is so possible because (currently 201) people loves pan mee and I'm sure they'll be even more! :P
Just to explain a little about the ilovepanmee Facebook fan page, Twitter and Blogspot. It all began because I always (most of the time) eat pan mee during lunch and then one day, a friend challenged me to create a fan page for pan mee. So I thought, what the heck, let's go all out and try it and see what happens in the end.
I have to admit that the blogging part became a little like a part time job for me on weekends, but it's really rewarding to see people giving some form of response, like comments or even sending in their favourite pan mee pics (so far I have 3 fan pics).
Well, it's all interesting and I kinda enjoy it. I'd love to see how far ilovepanmee can go. And really, a big thank you to all the ilovepanmee fans - without your fan-ship, all these wouldn't happen. Thank you! :)

Kungfu Smooth pan mee
"Hiyeeeak! Bash bash punch punch chop!!! (poor "min fun")
This August, ilovepanmee is presenting to you... KUNGFU SMOOTH pan mee.
And yes, my flour break is over and I'm now back to eating more pan mee again. Um, to kick start this season of ilovepanmee, I've decided to drive a car to this place in Seri Sentosa, Old Klang Road for this special Kungfu Smooth Pan Mee.
Well, I'm not sure what type of kungfu this pan mee is made of, but I'm sure the fella who makes it sure has the rank of a Master :P
Nice huh? I ordered the "dry" kungfu pan mee.
Basically it's hand-pulled.
Look at the length of this pan mee... hmmm... kungfu works! :D
This is the slim pan mee. The description in the menu did not mention "kungfu" though. So I guess this is machine-made.
Meatballs! Should order this too, it's quite nice :)
Mmm... think it's made of sotong + pork or beef? No idea but it's good.
Lotsa trees nearby too.
If you're thinking of aircon, nice cafe, erm... u're wrong. This is really like the "dai pai dong" style pan mee. Eat on the street, taste better :P
If u're looking for a signage, u won't be able to see it. Just recognise those trees.
Price per bowl of pan mee: OMG, i didn't notice it!
Total price for 1 bowl of meatballs + 2 bowls of pan mee + 2 cincau ice = RM17.20
I love pan mee's rating: 4.2 / 5 star
I've got to say this... service is pretty fast too :P
Here's the map and address to this place if u'd like to try:
28, Jalan Seri Sentosa 9A/133
Taman Seri Sentosa
Bt. 6 1/2 Jalan Klang Lama
58000 Kuala Lumpur
